What's New in Radzen Blazor Studio: Smarter Toolbox, Streamlined Properties, and Easier Theming

We’re excited to share some of the latest updates in Radzen Blazor Studio—all designed to improve your productivity and streamline your UI development experience.

Toolbox Enhancements: Simple vs. Advanced Modeslink

Our updated Toolbox now features a Simple mode that organizes Radzen Blazor Components by functionality. This new layout is ideal for developers who prefer a cleaner, more task-oriented view of available components. A toggle button at the top of the Toolbox panel lets you easily switch between Simple and Advanced modes, giving you full control over how you browse and add components to your app.

But we’re not stopping there! We’re currently working on integrating code snippets into the Toolbox. These will be preconfigured component setups for common scenarios, helping you scaffold UI elements even faster.

Grouped Component Properties for Easier Configurationlink

Setting up and customizing components just got easier. The Properties grid now groups related settings together, making it faster to understand and adjust component behavior. Whether you're configuring a data grid or fine-tuning a chart, this update helps reduce friction and keeps your focus where it matters—on building great apps.

Smarter Theming: One Color to Rule Them Alllink

Changing your app’s look is now as simple as picking a single primary color.

Different design systems use and calculate colors in various ways. We’ve taken this into account and updated the theme editor to automatically generate colors from a single primary color selection, based on the chosen theme (design system).

And if you need precise control, you can always override individual colors to fine-tune your palette.
